My father, my architect

In the featured TED talk below, Nathaniel Kahn, son of the American architect Louis Kahn, shows a clip from his movie “My architect. A son’s journey”. This movie takes you along the journey Nathaniel embarks on to discover who his father was through his art, his architecture.

In this clip he discoveres Jatiyo Sangshad Bhaban, the National Parliament of Bangladesh. The clip is a beautiful illustration of the power of love through architecture. Especially when he interviews Shamsul Wares who worked under Louis Kahn.
